my washer is on the other side of the spectrum, jon. I have about 1,000 settings between extra small and extra large, and I have no idea what constitutes large versus medium, or large versus extra large. So consider yourself lucky that you don't have much of a choice. when i do laundry i always have to ask amanda what setting to put it on. she usually just says large. i should just stop asking.
That is awesome! I just asked Jonathan if that is the same washer that was in there when he lived there and he doesn't even remember, which says to me that he never even checked to see that you were supposed to determine the load size. This is why I do the laundry and he is banned from getting anywhere near it.I don't really think he minds.
This is the knob on the washer in our apartment. I haven't done a medium load since I moved in.

Who does laundry enough to ever have a load that is not extra large?
